As many of you may already know Jeff has decided to leave Emerson Drive to concentrate on his songwriting. I'm sure this has come as a shock to many of us. This is the email I got from the fan club.

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to go ahead and make the announcement due to all the emails 
flying around & the postings up on the board. I wanted you all to have 
accurate information. Jeff Loberg has left the band to pursue his songwriting 
career. The band was very supportive in his decision to pursue songwriting. 
It has been really tough for Jeff to find time out on the road to do what his 
heart desires and that's write.  The new bass player's name is Pat Bourque. 
He's a very nice guy & a great bass player, not to mention very cute!!! I was 
at the show at the Wildhorse this past Friday night & the band rocked.  The 
transition looks to be going very smoothly & everyone is happy!!!! If anyone 
has any notes for Jeff you can email them to me or write a letter and send it 
to the fan club address. I will get these to him.
